Great blogs about GTD and personal productivity

Here are (in my opinion) the top 5 GTD resources on the web
  1. Lifehacker.com: Not strictly about GTD, but a great blog that covers both productivity and software tips. I read this blog every day

  2. 43 Folders: A great blog by Martin Mann about personal productivity, life hacks, and ways to make life better.

  3. Lifehack.org: Blog about productivity, getting things done and lifehacks

  4. GTD Wannabe: Writes about GTD, favourite software, tips & tricks

About gtdHelper

gtdHelper is a software that I wrote to myself when I started using Gmail as my in-basket for the GTD methodology. Hence I use Gmail for all my mail, actions, and notes. I decided to share this software free on the net in case anyone else would like to try it. Below is a an overview of its main features:

Get alerts when you have new Gmail messages

Similar to the GMail Notifier, the gtdHelper will check your Gmail account, once a minute to check if you have any new messages.

Compose an action to yourself

Quickly compose an action to be sent to your inbox. The e-mail will be sent to 'username+action@gmail.com'. This enables you to easily label these mail in Gmail. This feature can be activated by using the global hotkey (Ctrl+Shift+A), or by right clicking the icon in the tray.

Quickly access you Gmail

Access Gmail by double-clicking the icon in the tray. This will take you to the https version of Gmail. This is more secure than using the http version.
